Power supply

For autonomous operation even at very remote sites Ge:Net provides solutions for independent power supply based on solar power. For meteo masts with high power consumption (e. g. by heated sensors, ultrasonic anemometers or other power consuming devices) extra solar panels, extra battery capacity are available. For regions with less sunshine duration (e.g. northern latitudes) additional power can be supplied by small wind turbines mounted at the mast.
