Communication via GPRS or satellite

Ge:Net offers different solutions to communicate with the meteo masts and to transfer the wind data to the customers servers. If available GPRS will be used, but for remote sites without network connection Ge:Net developed a communication solution via satellite connection.

By checking the data transferred from the meteo mast on a regular basis malfunctions or problems can be detected early. If the problem can not be resolved from remote a service team can be deployed for trouble shooting. This helps to improve the data availability.
